•December 2022:
Though it may not look like it, Bucks County ARES has been quite active this past year. We participated in a section-wide Simulated Emergency Test in both April and October. We've been working with the county Emergency Management Office throughout the year to improve our relationship, and improve our physical and radio presence at the EOC building, as part of their ongoing renovation project. We've moved our website to a new server, and changed the domain name. We provided public service communications support for the Covered Bridges bicycle ride in October. We met with area Red Cross personnel to improve our coordination there. Though we thankfully haven't had any widespread communications emergencies this year, we continue to hone both our stations and our skills. I am looking forward to a safe, and even more active year in 2023.
